I tested typing "door" a bunch in a web browser and couldn't replicate the issue. It could still be the keyboard sure but I'm doubtful at this point.
Then again, now that I mostly use the manager for things, I'm rarely typing things in, in workshops, and I suppose its possible there is some kind of input bug for workshops that isn't in the manager screen.
The closest I have experienced is getting used to(and still not really used to it yet) making sure im in the text box when i mean to type, like, clicking it and accidentally turning off input, then typing something in and having the screen jump around.
But it sounds like you are typing text in, when you mean to, its just doing more than you want it to, which is odd.
Only other guess is, are you typing while the game is unpaused?(can you even type in workshops while the game is unpaused?) as sometimes there is weird input lag if you try doing things while the gaming is running rather than paused.
Yeah I type while it's unpaused, which I thought might be a part of the problem but I really can't say for sure. The game continues to run when the bug happens, the dwarves still continue walking around but I can't close the window or even bring up the pause menu. I've verified the files just in case so maybe that will fix it.
