Anyone else notice the car engine in the rain/thunder ambience sound? Really adds to the immersion of the insanity of the game.

Edit: Might just be some distortion. It really sounds like an engine to me though.

I can definitely hear something that doesn't sound natural. Maybe it was a car engine they tried to make silent in postprocessing or something, idk.

There's a thread around here where someone went through a lot of the music files and found a good number of intrusive ambients. Cars, cell-phone/rings, etc.
