How do you remove lets say 200 Beds ?`

I think the deconstruct tool in mining wouldn't do it so I will make the radical suggestion to burn them all with magma then build more beds because it would be less painful than clicking one bed at a time to deconstruct + more amusing. Your carpenter might lose their mind if its 200 masterwork beds though.
If his resultant tantrum spirals off and ends the fort, then you won't even need to remove the beds.

If they are built in a regular pattern, you could record a macro to do it, I believe. But you'll have to research for macros, cause I never used them myself.

I think a macro wouldn't work, since it takes input from the keyboard only.
Sadly no extremely needed shortcut to hit the deconstruct button yet

In the past i could at least record a Macro, now i cant even do that

Aren't there macros in this version to?
Could have sworn I saw a menu or something for them when I was looking through things, though I haven't tried to use them or find it since.

Macros work if you activate the keyboard cursor, but they do for keyboard inputs only.
And many UI functionalities don't have a keyboard shortcut.
This is a big downgrade, hopefully it gets fixed at some point.

In fact right now you can't do much with macros, mostly just... mining?
Placing something require selecting a material (you need to click on closest material or select one).
Same for all constructions.
Deconstructing is mouse only.
etc.

Sorry to revive this old thread, but since it's among the top results for "How to mass remove furniture" I think throwing this here will help others:

1. You need DFHack for this, if you don't have it, download it through Steam; it's a must-have.
   
2. With DFHack running, hit CTRL+M to open the gui/mass-remove script. A window will pop up, all you have to do is configure how the tool should work.
   
3. Select an area for it to work on.
   
4. Hit enter, the furniture should now be set for removal!

your choices here are a whole lot of manual tedious clicking or use DFHack's mass-remove tool. most sane people will take the latter option

It is sadly not a thing when you suddently decide your entire bedroom block must now be made with golden walls and platinum floor.
