If they are residents/citizens then you have to wait until they get married to another of their species to reproduce.
but how do you feed them ? i am sure you feed them in cadges , but do they get fed in ropes ? it woude be interesting if having them close on ropes woude have an impact hehe but if not fed ?
If the animals dont need to graze you can just dig out a small room and add a door to keep them together and contained.
they are people, but im trying too make them property. dont think its as easy as letting them lose on a grassy field, they will promply murder the nearest dwarf.
!!science!! though; i put a bunch of them in a pen, male workers, female workers and queens, and tied them too rope posts soo they could interact with eachother, they still would NOT breed.
another fun fact: they have their own civilization in the world screen, and start with 3 metal shields and a metal spear, ranging from copper too steel.
luckily there have been plenty of attacks, so i was able too capture about a 100 or so. im planing on abandoning the fortress and leaving it all too them. kicking starting this brand new civ.
but yea, no taming, mo breeding, no petitions. just savagery and barbarism. their FUN does not disapoint :)
