Bronze Colossus Question

Got myself a bronze colossus invading my base but it seems to go through my animal traps without being caught, am I missing something?

Full megabeasts are unaffected by most traps. Most of the time.

Big boys dont get trapped easily, you'll have to try either fighting it, locking up, or devising a different solution

Ahh and here I was reading the wiki like it was as simple as placing a trap down and waiting for it to walk over it.

Ahh I think I figured it out, there is a separate item under traps literally called cage trap.

If worse comes to worse: make a squad and arm them all with pickaxes. they'll do in a pinch, and are surprisingly effective against metallic monsters.

You need to do something specific to make them vulnerable to cage traps and it's a ♥♥♥♥♥ and a half to do on its own, not even including actually getting them to step on it.

Cage trap definitely works against Bronze Colossus. I captured him myself and moved to the pit.

kill it and you will get an expensive bronze statue! it was a hard fight but i took one down recently. They soak a lot of damage up and most traps wont work on them. goodluck

Cage traps work just fine on bronze colossus.
