Bucket Stockpile Issue

I can't manage to create an individual stockpile for the hospital to get empty buckets there. The dwarfs simply do not bring any. I have set buckets for both refuse and furniture and even set up to take from a different stockpile with "all" enabled where buckets exist already. Is there something I am missing?

The same thing happens with only floodgates stockpile.

I simply have a furniture stockpile, with only buckets enabled, and with only 'wood' as accepted material, as well as all the qualities enabled. works fine.

Like the above poster hinted at, make sure you also have the materials and various qualities that the buckets could be set up as well. If buckets are enabled but all qualities and/or materials are disabled then no buckets of any kind can be stored there.

Put a chest in the hospital, and thread, buckets, splints etc will be stored there. Stockpiles don't work for that, unless I've misinterpreted what you're asking.

Stockpiles work perfectly fine for that. Hospital chests, on the other hand, have always been bugged.

Huh good to know. Hospital chests have always worked flawlessly for me, never actually tried with a stockpile cuz wiki said to use chests.

It's kind of funny cause I always use stockpiles for buckets in the hospital and chests for everything else, lol.

Another thing to be aware of, is that some buckets may have leftover water in them. They won't be moved to any stockpile and are useless until you empty them into a pit/pond.

Thank you all for the awesome replies. I did not knew that quality was a thing that needed to be enabled. Now it works!
