Standing order tab and automated kitchen option
Unfortunately, DF does not explain what is the meaning of an automated kitchen?
Problem is that prepaired meals are not made....

Kitchens turn fat from butchered animals into tallow. This is the 'render fat' job in the kitchen. The automated kitchen setting renders fat if there's any available. It doesn't cook meals.

Would be good if this was clearer in the game

Hopefully DF will become more user friendly and I think the team is working on it.
