Is DF a clone of My Time in Portia ?

DF looks soooo like My Time in Portia with slightly lower quality graphics and improved complicated gameplay. Why should we pay for that, really ? Any quality & of course objective & argumented insights are welcome (even if you already know you are definitely wrong)

(and no, I don't dare to compare DF to RimWorld, anybody willing to thank me for that with sexy feet pics and Steam bounties is welcome)

To be fair, I had a horse giving birth and I realized DF wouldn't exist without My Little Pony. Such a nice easter egg to add a pony in their game to reference MLP.
