Strange Mood Tanned Hide Question
So one of my dwarves wants Tanned Hide. My question is tanned hide the same as leather? If not, what should I do to make a tanned hide?

Pretty sure it's the same as leather. If this is the only thing missing from the artifact they should just go get it and start the construction if you have leather. If they don't it's probably something else they're missing. If it's not that maybe he's locked out of that material. If it's not that I have no idea and he's probably gonna die.

Try butchering a new animal and tanning the hide to see if that works. :D
