Ive read both of these and its still unclear... thats why i made the post
I say ive read the wiki in the post.
It's probably easiest to forbid the other things the kiln uses from the stocks screen (clay), then kaolinite is the only thing they can use and they'll make porcelain by default.
You can also build a kiln next to the kaolinite, that's maybe simpler.
Not sure what there is to fail to understand.
If they use any random clay type that isn't kaolinite, the output won't be porcelain. The OP is asking how to make sure they get porcelain.
Only thing I can think of that this won't work on is encrusting stuff (someday I hope to be able to specify silver spatulas with menacing spikes of kangaroo tallow. In case you want to cheer up a dwarf who likes silver, spatulas and kangaroos for their tallow.)
