Note that he will keep sketching ALL the items he need, even if he has already got some of them. You can see in the list below what he currently has. Try making wood blocks at the carpenter.
Finally found that translation chart, as previously all my googling just kept telling me "you need to decipher it" no duh lol...
It lists all 3 cloths under the same "stacked cloth" so how much you wanna bet hes demanding the one cloth i dont have....great
Which is really annoying because for some reason i havnt seen a trade caravan in 2 years so all i have is wool/pigtail cloth
Just as a PSA, if you don't want mood interrupting your Fortress-making you can turn them off in difficulty settings. I ran with them on until the dwarves I wanted Legendary were all Legendary then turned it off. I'll turn it back on after I have my project finished, but for now it's a no !!!FUN!!! zone.
