Save files disappear.

Today I had this happen two times. I save and exit the game. When I start up again and load the active save the game crashes and it says something like "compressed save files missing etc.". So I have to pick an earlier save file.

This happened twce, setting me back several hours. I do enjoy building, but it's tedious when you've spent two hours making doors and furniture of the same color for your 24 bedrooms, only to have to do it all that again before moving on.

Should I continously save manually? Anyone else have this problem?

I have had it happen a few times. not sure why some times I have had an extra space at the end but I think some of those have gone through and showed up on the save menu

Not sure if it's related, but for some reason my save game only works if I use the "save and quit" option.
