Easy way to mass un-forbidden items?

Ive just finished killing 30+ Goblins and my map is covered in locked items, hundreds of items.

Itll take hours to manually go through them all and click the little lock icon to unlock them, is there a way to mass-unlock them all?

At the bottom of your screen on the right, the last button has mass forbid/unforbid/dump etc tool.

How did you manage to kill 30+ goblins without ever encountering that button?

Yuh it's the little 4 squares. The unlock symbol is unforbid. Draw a square area like you would draw for everything. Works over multiple levels.

Im not sure how unforbidden items effects fighting Goblins.... am i missing something? lol

A funny quip nodding to the complexity of the game and how good manage people to get while missing some of the more mundane chores. Killing that many goblins on the first go without ever having harvested goblinite is pretty damn impressive.

Alot of micromanaging and more importantly they had to cross a stream and ended up arriving at my fort in small groups of 5 or 6. I managed to kill each pack before i got overwhelmed. I think 2 dead and a hospital full of injured soldiers... ill take that :)

You should look into building traps. A cage trap is the simplest and overpowered, it will catch any goblin that steps on it. Weapon traps are more complicated, and will kill enemies instead.

And build them in such a way that no goblins escape, otherwise they will report the location of your traps to other goblins.

Funnily enough, you can then deconstruct your traps and place them in the same location and they will be treated as "new" traps, rendering their intelligence useless, lul
