Pets starving to death?
Recently the pets of my dwarves are suddenly starving to death, any reason why that happens? they recently arrived.

try making a pen outside at the entrance of your fort. There are certain animals which need to graze on grasses and plants. Hope that helps.

Dwarves with pets are supposed to feed them I think. But yeah, pasturing the grazers helps some.

Pet cows are still grazers. Yep. You gotta pasture Snuffles.

Pets shouldn't (I don't think) starve under normal circumstances. Animals in general, though, default to your main meeting area.

If you build a pasture and put your original animals into it, you'll need to update the pasture with any "new arrival" animals as well (or build them a new pasture) or they'll wander into your meeting room or tavern and eventually starve to death.
