How to craft in bulk

I am brand new to this game and trying my best to figure out everything on my own. But I seriously cannot figure out if there is a way to craft in bulk other than the Infinite setting. Which sounds fine until you forget to turn it off and you make 40 doors for your 8 dwarf group. And instead of just it doing it when it can it will automatically cancel the order when the order cannot be completed. So is there a way to tell the station to make 3 of this thing instead of hitting the button 3 times?

Yes, Set a work order. (You'll need to assign a dwarf as a manager first)

You can give a work order a set amount to craft, Or set it to repeat under certain conditions like "If number remaining is <2, craft 10 more"

Oh my god that makes so much sense, I never assigned a manager because I thought it just helped set tasks like who should farm and such! Thank you!
