Report a translation problem
The only thing it does besides aesthetic is bring food for grazers so you can setup a pasture inside.
So if you go with what any of both guys above suggested, a single one tile grate will be good. Pave the rest if for aesthetic reason.
I personally ignore the awful look of it for now.
But worth mentionning, if you leave enough room above those tiles, you will have eventually those "shroom" trees growing in your upper levels, allowing you "safe" woodcutting indoor, also like mentioned safe indoor grazing, etc.
Besides again aesthetics, I find it very useful to not wanting to deal with it, but use it to your advantage
