QoL request : Combat page skill list, a la the Labor page
tl,dr : need an at-a-glance list of dwarves' combat skills & preferences, instead of having to browse through individual dwarf info sheets. Perhaps presented similarly to the Labor page?

When I embarked, I set up my embarking dwarves to each have a particular combat area of expertise.

Yet now that I'm at the stage of more thoroughly setting up my squads, all that the 'assign position' list of potential squad members tells me is whether or not the individual has any wrestling expertise. Similarly, when assigning a new militia commander or captain on the nobles screen, all I'm told is whether any dwarf have leadership expertise.

For example - I want to assign a particular squad with one dwarf with high expertise in a one-handed melee weapon, and another dwarf with high expertise in shield. But I can't see any of that information listed when scrolling through the list of the 50+ potential recruits.

The only way I know of to view this info is to manually click on and browse every . single . dwarf's . info sheet.

...(if only dwarf therapist were modded to this steam version XD )...

Maybe there's 0.01% or so among the existing playerbase (rough estimate) who would actually be highly excited having the opportunity to individually click through each individual dwarf's info sheet and then manually collate the date in their own prepared ex-game database, but I'm not one of them and frankly I think the vast majority of current *AND POTENTIAL* players would much prefer the game presented a more intuitive UI in this respect.

Perhaps a la the existing Labor page, could we also have a Combat skills page so that we can see dwarves current various combat skill levels, with added functionality of :

-> being able to change around squad assignments via a drop-down box

Eg - a primary militia squad position 3's occupant died. I want to replace that position with someone from one of my reserve squads. The Combat skills page listing would show at a glance which reservists have what skills and what weapon/equipment preferences so I can choose at a glance who to 'promote' to the primary squad and just use a drop-down box next to the name to move them to that open position.

-> being able to see at a glance whether an individual has a preference for any piece of militia-related items, egs particular weapons, shields/bucklers, bolts, quivers, so that I can more easily tailor squads to fit particular equipment profiles.

-> be able to see at a glance whether an individual has traits that make them weak/strong to particular combat roles/uniforms.

Eg - not ending up equipping full steel on a weak dwarf such that it can't keep up and becomes separated from their squad mates. (Thanks Hashpike.)

-> be able to arrange cross-squad training attendance.

Eg - I have one dwarf who has high shield skill. I want, not only his own squad to be able to learn from this expert, but also to pick one dwarf from each of the other squads to attend any of this expert's training sessions so that they may then take their training back to their own squads to train up. If, on a combat skills page, I could identify a primary combat skill master trainer, and also finger other specific dwarves as dedicated apprentices of this skill, so that even though they might not be assigned squad duty, if this master holds a training session they will drop whatever civilian duties they have at hand to instead attend the master's training session.

Alternate suggestion to having a Combat page:

-> Be able to set non-labour / combat skills as a custom labor, so as to be able to browse skills that way. (Thanks LastChime.)

The above is some of the functionality I'd really like as a QoL improvement to the existing UI. Perhaps there might be others that other players would also like.

Even if you could just set like marksmanship or teacher to a custom labor and browse it that way.

Certain traits like Weak and others along those line should also be visible, or I should be able to open up their character page. Not realizing you equipped a weak dwarf with full steel until It's lagging behind the rest of your dwarves or having to exit out of everything, find the dwarf in the list alphabetically and then check their status. for EVERY dwarf. All of that kinda adds up, you know?
