how to store sand(bags)
I have a finished goods stockpile with "sandbags" forbidden, yet theyy still put them there, I have another stockpile with it enabled, and no one brings it there.

so is there anything else that ahs to be enabled and disabled to make them bring it to the rigth stockpileS?

For a dedicated sand bag stockpile you have to go and set up your stockpile like this[ibb.co].
Setting the stockpile to take items from the stockpile you don't want it in helps, but its easier if you just disable sandbags from your original stockpile.

The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Image link is dead. What's the setup?
I think sand bags are located in the 'furniture' tab for stockpiles so you may need to disable them through that tab.

Also, it might not be sand bags. Bags filled with gypsum or plaster are not sorted apart from '(Empty) Bags' for some reason.

You could try activating all the material tabs. Bags are usually made of leather or cloth/yarn/silk and having those greyed out might disqualify from taking anything at all.

The settings are exactly as I posted, you don't need to activate anything.

You may need to link the stockpile depending on what you want it to do.
