Non-stop spawning of enemy
So I was trying out harder mode with high savagery. Early on, I notice my dwarf and animals are constantly getting harassed and killed by great horn owls and eagles and their giant versions, so I formed an army to deal with it. I thought that should be the end of it, but no, I notice that the moment the wild flying animal is killed, another one will instant spawn to replace it, thus always keeping two of the flying enemies in map thus creating a non stop kill and repeat situation. After killing about 50 of these bastards, I am really tired of it. I think this is something that should be patched on, new animal types should at least be rotate in otherwise it just get repetitive.

The list goes all the way to the top. I lost count how many I killed honestly, 50 is conservative estimate.

I think this should be patched and better enemy spawning behavior could be implemented honestly. Not to mention it kills the immersion of the game a bit and you are just always dealing with the same thing unless you just wanna wall yourself inside the mountain as the only solution, but that kills choice and player agency.

no. you chose to engage in a harder mode. Animals will come in from all over consistently.

You need to dig out a pasture underground, and hit the cavern layer and let moss take over so they can graze.

Go easier on yourself if you don't know how to deal with situations.

I already said I know the solution is to go underground which I can do. The point is the game only provide one solution, sure I can do that, but I want to remain above ground too. They way it is spawned feels artificially and lacks any essence in terms of game design. I rather they gave me one hard enemy or something with more varieties instead of just spawning the same three enemy type and being constant annoyance that persists and spawn the same thing over and over regardless how many time you kill it.

The "Agitated (CREATURE)" is because they're sent by the agitation system. I don't know much about how this agitation system works besides I think it only happens in "savage" biomes. (I.E. Untamed Wilderness or Joyous Wilds)

I have 3 hunters that just do their thing all day long and i haven't had any flying problems since then. The pests are on the map, but i guess my hunters just rage them down when they come too close.

Harder mode has nothing to do with animal spawns. It only affects how early you get things like sieges and megabeast attacks.
