Removing grass floors
I wanted to dig into a hill to make my fort. To make a smooth wall, I dug at the upward grassy slope, but realized afterwards that this leaves a grass tile above. How can I remove this? It is not a construction, so that menue did not help.

Same thing inside the fort, how can I remove the floors after digging, so that there is a hole down to the layer underneath?

You can dig a hole from the layer above. It's in the dig menu, next to the "remove stairs" button.

You can also ramp directly into the ground ahead of time. Ramping removes that layer and the layer above, channeling removes that layer and the layer below.

I mean it's too late now, but that's a tool you can use for next time C: For now you must use channel! Good luck, don't cause too many cave ins lol.
