My Created Wealth keeps going down?
Apologies if this has been posted before.

I've been playing my fort for around four years and I've come to realize that my fortress' created wealth is fluctuating wildly. Originally at 33,000 created wealth it's now dropped to less than half that, despite continuing to create artifacts, smoothing & engraving, and a heavily committed industry.

Can anyone tell me why my Created Wealth keeps dropping? I'd like to know, please.

I'm a veteran DF player so this is confusing me.

it looks like because bookkeeper is worshipping, meeting, and socializing. He just dont bother about keeping records anymore, so you got (very) inaccurate wealth value.
with last versions dwarves working 2-5 times slower, so its not just bookkeeper and manager(he can slack about half a year before managing orders task).

p.s.: they really become ridiculously lazy, some of them constantly getting bad thoughts from not praying while walking around temple and away from spouse while dwelling around it

It's not about the bookkeeper, it's about the broker's appraisal skill, which is only kept functional through constant trading. More details here: https://discord.com/channels/329272032778780672/1054446108459417680/1054662976839372840

really, my broker/bookkeeper got legendary appraisal skill and wealth became exactly precise.
I thought that bookeeeper is slacking just like worhipping managers, "fill waterskin" or "attend meeting" militia and "pickup equipment" nobles.
Also, I haven't any access to your discord link - thread is closed, server isn't appearing
