LOW FPS fixes

Hello, please share your LOW FPS fixes to avoid FPS death. Game becomes unplayable when I reach 50 pops.

So far I have tried lowering embark size to 3x3 and disabling level drawn for Z levels when outside. It did help to save 5 fps.

Normally the game gets very laggy on late or mid game, when u reach like 100-150 pop, but 50? Oof... Guess thats ur pc fault

Use high and restricted traffic designations on common/rare movement zones respectively

Make corridors smaller and avoid wide open quarries

Block off unused rooms with doors that are set to forbid passage

Avoid fluid movement when possible

use pens for all your animals

use atom smasher to dispose of unwanted items

limit pathfinding as much as possiblle by using fast traffic designations

burrow your dwarfs

take it easy on caves exploring and if you discover one kill its creatures before moving on to the next or shut off the entrance

dont build too much on the surface unless you do it with magma casts

I've found its likely the rendering and the scaling causing issues. Day 1 I did full-screen with 200 scaling and I couldnt get more than 20fps at most with 40ish dwarves. I switched to windowed with no scaling and now I'm doing many zlayers with 160 dwarves at a constant 50fps (with some drops). I've been able to replicate this by going back and forth and that input lag is a beast.

It's be incredibly helpful to know what people's CPUs are like when mentioning dps to know whether it's just my optimization that's lacking or my 6700k that needs upgrading.

Or maybe it's my 2300mhz ram.
