Medical Health Screen Missing?

I understand that we're in somewhat of a beta, but a lot of the status view that was available before appears missing. Previously, there was a health screen which was a spreadsheet style display that told me everything I needed to know about the health of all the dwarfs in my fort. It was very handy for assessing injuries, and checking things after fights to make sure they were being taken care of.
Now, if I was interested in the health of my dwarfs, I'd need to scour the combat logs (if I had not dismissed them for being too clogged and made them inaccessible), and look at each one by one.

I'd be glad to be informed I was missing something, but the status and logs in general seem to have been overlooked for this release. I hope they address a lot of this soon.

You need a diagnostician set up in a hospital zone to diagnose the dwarfs, then you can see the injuries they have and if they have been sutured/splinted or not by other healthcare dwarfs. Have orderlies set to water and feed them or they can die in their beds.

The hospital zone is created from the dormitory IIRC.

Which staff positions are actually vital in the hospital? I simply do not have enough dwarves to have doctors, surgeons, bone doctors, diagnosticians etc. all at the same time.

I have one guy who is OK at diagnosing and that's about it.

Doctors do all the other roles, unless you find a specialist or you have a massive warfaring fort you can stick with making everyone doctors.

To answer the OP's question, the spreadsheet view of injuries is gone for now, you'll have to check out dwarves through their status menu one at a time.

As far as I can tell this screen is non-existent. If it is not could someone please tell me exactly where and how to access it.

My research turns up pressing the "Z" button which brings up the zones menu, not a fortress-wide diagnostic readout. It is not there, obviously, and is not helpful at all.

I want to see the heath status of my dwarfs and be able to send some into the hospital for diagnoses.

It's usually done automatically once you have the hospital and doctors assigned. Though I'm not sure if there is any way of forcing dwarves to go to bed and have them diagnosed for older injuries.
