How do slabs work?
I got a lot of ghosts floating around, and a lot of bodies that cant be placed in coffins for some reason, so I decided to make slabs.

I cant figure out how to get them engraved though and the wiki is no help.

Ive tried searching for "engrave" in work orders and in the stoneworker and craftdwarfs shops but i dont have the option to engrave slabs anywhere, so how do you get this done?

You make a slab. Then you engrave it with the name of the dead dwarf, there's an option in the workshop. Then you build it like furniture, and the ghost is put to rest.

Looks like they moved engraving memorial slabs to the Stoneworker's workshop.

ah ok i found it under the Task tab for the stoneworkers workshop. thanks

is slab is available in storage you should get the -engrave memorial slab- option for applicable names on top of the task list in the stoneworkers workshop
