check your stockpile settings, should be an option to change whether the stockpile allows bins/wheelbarrows or not, and how many max.
alternatively, the items are just too big to fit in bins, or are food items which are stored in vessels/barrels not bins.
Most non-food items can be stored in bins; the quantity allowed depends upon the items stored. Each bin can store up to 10 bars or blocks, while 30 or more small crafts may fit into a single bin. This might have changed in newer versions of the game.
pig tail cloth: 300
stone block: 10
bone bolts: 400
i assume any blocks are also 10, not dependant on material...iirc its also 4 blocks per rock, and 1 rock per tile in a stockpile...
so instead of 1 rock per space its now essentially 2 and 1/2 rocks per tile :D
I also tried putting weapon racks and chests in training halls and barracks but they are all empty.
Right now I have like 75 random pieces of armor all sitting at the metal worker...
or use them for other things, certain rooms use coffers for like...dwarves belongings or smth? idr...
