where is the mod button
Trying to upload a mod I'm working on and can't find the mod button anywhere on the menu.

Putting mod folders directly into the mod_install or the other mod folder still doesn't make my new mod show up in the select mods menu.

On my game it's the third one down on the main menu.

It's just not showing up anywhere on that menu. Am I the only one with this bug?

subscribed to a random workshop mod.

Now the mod button is showing on the main menu

Does that mean mods must be acquired through steam?

seems like it. You need to at least subscribe to one from the workshop for the mod button to show up. After that you can install mods manually.
