how do u make roof?

I looked it up and didn't find much in the way of answers, I assume roofs exist??

Go up one elevation, build flooring on the sections you want your "roof". Make sure your dawri have stairs and a way up.

You can use a floor, as suggested above, but I always used a bridge (everything else is the same, though)

Yeah this game uses caveman logic. Anything that blocks passage of light/water is considered a roof. Hell you could probably use Ice as a roof.

One more thing to add that the others didn't mention, if this version behaves anything like the old version, building a ramp to the roof might help dwarves actually be able to ACCESS the top level. :D Otherwise, you're just putting a designation out of your dwarves' reach.

You can create a ramp by going to Build Menu > Constructions > Ramp

EDIT: I'm ASSUMING you're creating a "house" here. As in, walls supporting a floor roof on a flat surface.
