Having 2 saves going makes me treat my dwarves as a bit more... expendable
To be honest, the steam deck runs this better than my PC from 2018. What the deck lacks in graphics it more than makes up for in processing power, and my PC which balanced my budget between CPU and GPU manages to perform worse as the GPU is quite underutilized.
Since DF is also heavy on keyboard shortcuts, its almost perfect for the steamdeck with all the customizable buttons. Its already become by go-to steamdeck game while my PC I save for more graphically intensive titles
I like to play between my Desktop and Laptop. I would prefer a streamlined approach.
