rotateing buildings, particularly bridges?
Help! I can't seem to rotate bridges at all, and the tooltips that pop up can't be moved and cover one another.

Having the same problem, especially with axles. I can't get an east-west axle no matter what I do...

wtf how do you unpolish the game like this and then charge $30. The menus / tooltips being on top of each other or not being able to assign directions...

You don't need to rotate most things. For bridges, you simply resize them in the direction you want them to face.

Are we playing the same game? I can't use the ascii controls to resize it when placing it with a mouse. the side that becomes a wall is fixed on the left. This prevents me from using it on my left, top, and bottom flanks

Ok, I managed to figure out how to sort the tooltips. In video options, set the option to scale the interface to "no", and my tooltips actually fit better. Now I can toggle the axle rotation because it was hidden behind another tooltip.

You have to disable "scale interface to fit grid height/width" under video options if you're running 4k like me. Then the tooltips that show how to build a bridge will be visible.

Yeah, just tested out bridges. The facing direction controls pop up in a little box up in the top right. It might've been hidden behind something before.

The little exit-looking symbol means, it's a bridge that doesn't raise; it just disappears. Like it slides under where it's connected to. Good for trap doors. Didn't seem to be a tooltip so thought I'd help out.
