Is this a final version?

So, I'm new to Dward Fortress so I still don't know what is going on and what is happening on the game, so I have a lot of hours to put on it, but I know that the game has been developed for several (a lot) of years.
I'm just curious if it's the end of the development or they will work on it more n.n

They will keep working on it from what I understand.

More is coming, barring the death of the dev team this'll keep going.

That being said, don't expect rapid, monthly updates once the initial release bugfixing is dealt with. Major version increases have years between them, and even minor increments usually have at least a few months.

My response was sassy, but it's 20 years deep, currently version 0.50.01, and the devs say they're "about half way", so, yeah. 20 years.

It is still in development. Big magic arc next. I'm excited.

release notes (in the install dir) call this version 0.50.01, that second number is percent completion of the ideal DF. Last release was 0.47.05 a couple years ago. A bump release every year or two or three has been normal, 3% is about midrange bump to completion percentage.
