Item quality when placing?

I have item quality in item name on, but when I go to place an item, opening the drop-down for each type (ie Chert Table) doesn't show item quality in the name. I can see it if I click on it after placing it, but that kind of defeats the point. Am I missing something?

Bumping this. Now that a bunch of the key commands don't work the same, it's so hard to tell how I'm supposed to set my Lord to have a Masterwork gold throne.

Hey, so, I think I figured it out - When I am placing, say, a bed, it says "select material after placement" and "use closest material". Gotta hit "select material", and then it'll show you the materials of the furniture available. There should be a little > icon next to the furniture. Click that, and it'll show you the quality of the furniture.

Still doesn't show the quality for me, unfortunately.

I'm dumb - I figured out the problem. I didn't have a broker to appraise the item quality.
