It also has a great community of people who love old and classic games.
Why not? It would be another avenue for them to generate revenue from so it would assist them in the long term, and give customers a way to purchase it on the platform they are comfortable with. A win-win for the customer and the developer.

edit: It's DRM free and is run by decent human beings.
Anyways, DRM free is no argument, since all Kifox games are DRM free - does not matter where you buy them.
I use gog when I can but it's gonna release here on Steam in a few moments so just buy it i guess?
