Creative mode?

Anyone think it would be cool to have a creative mode? I would like to use it to test some !FUN! contraptions, among other things.

you can use dfhack to spawn items like wood, goblets, adamantine, even commands like godmode, no dwarves die, so dfhack is basically creative mode.

That sucks, I was hoping they would implement something like DFhack or at least something like Rimworlds Dev mode (for god mode).

It does. You can launch the game either through DF or DFHack, it launches both always.

Just use DFHack. It works on Steam already and does mostly what you want. Obviously more hacky than a regular Creative mode release of course, but itll let you do what youre talking about...

Isn't arena mode already a creative..? Pretty sure thats where u go to just spawn in whatever combination of items or builds to test things out and stuff before trying them in-game.
