Report a translation problem
Even I did hear about it, I wasn't knowing about the ASCII...
took me by surprise.
After had watch a stream or two of it (not tutorial, just playing),
I got used to it and now, this is like in the movie the Matrix...
I don't see symbols anymore. Just dwarfs, chairs, weapons, monster,
magma etc.
But yeah... this is not for everyone.
I got a friend that just wait for graphic before playing it so this is great.
I expect a lot of complain about other stuff once release...
let's hope we are not going to get too much spam.
I am not sure why people thing those graphics are a big thing. There are already "grafics" ... tilesets. From Meph, Spacefox and others.
I don't remember the tilesets looking this good or presenting the information this clear. Maybe I'm wrong. It has been a long time since I played.
for reference, my DF experience right now.
"Legit graphics" I guess would mean things like workshops having their own unique images and all of the different creatures being accounted for.
