Is there a necromancer mod?

Hi, I played one or two hours with lazynoobpack and an hour or so with masterwork modpack and the game is confusing but fun.

Is there a mod where you can play fortress mode as undead? As an old zerg player I am more used to playing a hivemind of expendable units :D

I saw playable goblins and kobolds but read they are quite difficult to learn.

Edit: It seems like meph's masterwork modpack once had a warlock necromancer race, but it is nowhere to be found when I google it.

You can have a necromancer fortress without a mod. Just store a book with the secrets of life and death in the fortress library.

In theory yes, but I cant give orders to those minions and they attack everyone who isnt a necromancer. The older version of masterworks had a warlok race with controllable summons that could labor, but the new version seem to have cut alot of content (maybe incompatible?)

i think that the old Masterwork mod has that, although you might need an older version of the game, as for vanilla DF.... you can tecnically have a necromancer fortress, but it propably wouldn't work considering how necromancers work in game
