How do I make the demons keep generating mana?

Every time I tried to make them they only spend a few seconds in the room and then leave even though I had much need of mana. It's so annoying. Also is there a way to exclude the group generating mana from F2 (select all) command?

Can't review so i'll rant here

How in the world does this game have a 93% positive review rating. Positively mystifing. It's the most basic, boring rts i've played in a while. I know i'm amongts the top 99.9% of rts players coming from SC2, AOE, Warhammer (i know its "grand" stategy") but still, it's so slow. It lacks so many QOL features that many games 15 years ago have. It feels like playing warcraft 3... but warcraft 3 is about 25 years old ! Dungeon Keeper 2 was a masterpiece for its time. You'd hope that Dungeons, after the thir...
