General troubleshooting

Resolutiion user directory

• Windows: %APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata\Resolutiion
  
• macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Godot/app_userdata/Resolutiion
  
• Linux: ~/.local/share/godot/app_userdata/Resolutiion

If a crash or a soft lock happens, please do the following:

• open to the Resolutiion folder
  
• open the config.cfg file and set "debuglevel=2"
  
• start the game and play until the crash occurs
  
• go to the logs-folder and take a look at the latest entry
  
• send us a mail or post the content here

The game crashes on startup and the log files are empty

Somehow the Steam integration does not work properly.
As a workaround open the config.cfg file and set "disable_integration=true".

Directional input with a joypad is weird and the player always walks into one direction

Open the config.cfg file and set "joydeadzone" to a higher value (try 0.4 or 0.5).

You are not using the mouse for aiming but the player still aims towards the mouse position

Somehow the game is still receiving some mouse input so the game thinks, that you are using the mouse.
As a workaround open the config.cfg file and set "disable_mouse_aiming=true".

Opened pause menu oft-times on playing game use joypad on Linux

Appreciate launch this topic.

I like this game. I had playing on Nintendo Switch edition and buy on Steam.

Now. I have a trouble "Opened pause menu oft-times on playing game".
However, it trouble is on my poor environment maybe.
Because, I looked this log on mine play log:

How to Reproduce

1. Connected joypad
   
2. Start game
   
3. Rapid manipulate on analog input on the joypad. ex: Stick, Trigger
   
4. Open pause menu

• OS: Ubuntu 23.10(Linux 6.5.13-x64v2-xanmod1)
  
• Joypad: IFYOO-X208
  
• CPU: AMD FX-8320E
  
• RAM: 32GB

I tried play "Nintendo Switch Pro Controller". But, this trouble is not fix.

I send detail log file to "Monolith of Minds" information email address again.

Suggestion: Expected Result

In my humble opinion, It's too fast about judge device disconnection.

Maybe, disconnection judge time is 500ms wait good.
