Sharing save file between PC and Mobile version

I have the game on PC, never played too much of it, and recently got it on iOS too.

I noticed that the iOS version has the ability to download and upload save file from Steam.
Tried the download, and it worked, my Steam progress was ready to be picked up from my phone.

Never seen functionality like that before, and at a first glance, it's awesome.

The question, has anyone tried this or even finished the game while sharing progress between Steam and Mobile? I'm wondering if there any issues down the line that I don't know and end up on losing my progress at some point.

So I'm continuing playing the game sharing progress between phone and steam and so far, no issue. I have transferred back n forth around 5 times and everything works.
I even had an interaction that I couldn't do at all on iOS, and with a save transfer, I manage to do it on PC and then back to iOS to continue.

So far, it seems legit!

I tried this. You have to buy Thronebreaker on iOS in order for the save game thing to work. Thronebreaker is a decent diversion but I'd never pay for it twice.

Finished the game 100% while altering between PC and iOS quite a few times. Everything worked perfectly, achievements on steam unlocked normally too after each time I transferred from the menu the save file. If only more games did this.
