Difficulty

I chose the highest difficulty but ive blazed through all encounters with ease, only having to refight battles because it had a very specific mechanic that i was not told about before the fight and I havent created a single card. Im currently in map 3 now, will the game ever get harder?

Sadly, no, with the exception of 2 battles on map 4 and map 5 and only for the same reason - those have specific mechanics so you have to adjust your deck for it.

actualy this prevents me from buying. Everyone says the challenge is only through puzzlebattles and thats it. You cant even loose the game at all. Just redo battles till you lucky or bored enough. I can see the game has an AWESOME story. But the game Gwent was never ever a challenge at all. Even in witcher 3 the only challenge was getting the cards.

Is the magic the gathering game any good? I like card games but I'm not sure I want to get into what accounts to a loot box generator.

Spectromancer is an older card game which i found to be quite good, it has interesting challenges without nulifying your deck like this game.

Did you attepmt the puzzles or just the main story battles?

some of the puzzles should hold back how fast youre going - but most of the story battles are unfortuantley very easy due to cards like Eyeck and Isbel.

Ive done every single puzzle and battle. I havent found any of the puzzles to be hard, but even if i did, i didnt buy a card game to play puzzles.

MTG campaign is a shallow farse, with the same trail and error mechanic. MTG is all about multiplayer, while this is a singleplayer experience.
