Final battle
Does anybody has updated strategy to aep Dahy battle? I've looked up 2 already and they don't work anymore and I really can't finish the game because his 90 card deck is killing me.

You can experiment around with the rest of the cards, but that's the main strategy. For me I used Reynard, Barnabas, and Lyrian Blacksmith. For filler cards I used Mahakam Shielbearer x3, and the 4 Gheso cards since they are basically free power and small free damage, while getting you to the minimum without bloating the deck.

The strategy I used is this: In round 1, your goal is to try to win the round without using reinforcement, which isn't that difficult. MY strategy is to play maybe 2 Lyrian Schytheman, boosting them throughout. Use Aretuza Adept if you want, or save for round 2 if you keep a Scytheman in hand. It's good to use Mahakam Shieldbearers in this round, since they give you a default 4 charges you can use to remove boost from the enemy. If you have Reynard that round, use him afterwards for another 2 charges, then use Leader ability to get an even further two charges. If you pull all this off, you'll easily win the round without some incredible bad luck. You can also use Artifact Compression this round if you want.

For round 2, the goal is twofold. Get below 7 cards, and try to have 1 Lyrian Scytheman and as many aretuza Adepts as possible. You play the Schytheman, then burn all your Adepts on it until below 7 cards. I would discard any excess Schytheman because they are a waste in your hand. Once this is accomplished, just pass the round.

In round 3, you play one scytheman and use reinforcement asap. After that, you use filler cards until the last two rounds. Then it's dimeritium bomb and Lyrian Merlot.

It's GG to your opponent, they can't beat this. The only way to lose this is with incredible bad luck. You can experiment with different cards that will probably give you even more power, but basically Scytheman + Adept + Reinforcement is the bread and butter and the AI can't beat that.

You can win this in two rounds, but I save everything for the third round to get as high a power as possible.

I'll also add, Don't bother killing his cards at all, it hurts more than it helps.

Just beat him ... don't know if is original but I went for huge debuffing his side rather than buffing my own stats (which is important too - but I went the debuff route as I went with stray rather than Lyrian/ Knight units in my playthrough)

amyways did not use the reinforments strat generally recommended

Royal Decree (X) - this one is interchangaeble but whatever - Blitz units include Ordo who is really important in a pinch - more useful than reinforcements to me

Arnjolf - Kills or weakens beefy units obviously once opponent stacks field
Reynard Odo + Engine of deck
Black Raya Engine with Reynard
Gascon + (until rip)
4x Aretuza Adept - Flexibility for any situation - always have in Deck
4x Alchemist / or 3-4x Warwagon - use Alchemists in Final Boss Rivia fight/ otherwise warcarts are good fodder / in the pull I beat him I did not draw them either, but had them slotted in as they went with my stat to "steel" the good stats on his units
5x Strays Slinger + - my base dps of choice, works better for my needs than ballistas which are more expensive - I had them in still to bring the overall power on his units put not kill them
3x Lyrian Blacksmith - always want at least 1 or 2 in a three round fight to resycle blood and makaham
4x Mahakam Shielbearer - MVP dwarves - their use is not to buff but to debuff target enemies to their own power (8)
5x Regiment Drummer + - slotted in these for final fight, more useful than Grey Riders which I normally run here and when I had Gascon rip
4x Horse Thief - final fight sheninigans (usually I run 2x-3x Strays Bomber here but in final fight you don't want to kill you want to "debilitate" And hey see that buffed 40+power unit on enemy side? well time to swap for it....
5x Strays Infiltrator .... ditto horse thief, usually would not bother in normal fights before, just nuke, but here the point was to quality over quantity
2x Gheso Footman - in trash fights I take Arbalasts for quick damage but in final fight these where better as I did not care about measly damage
5x Pitfall Trap - always run them, usual fights obviously for damage to bounce units into, in final boss fight they were there to just put stuff on opponents rows to limit his units.

First round is easy to win as he concedes when he thinks (wrongly) he has numerical advantage - because the horse thief/ infiltrator has not hit him yet
Second round you put down trash to stall and maybe an aratuza adept as sacrifice to restock on a useful unit - then concede
Third round is a doozy - litter his field with as much junk as you can (pitfalls/ spies) to limit his units he can place, then buff your units with his unit stats and debuff his units to single digits but don't kill them as you don't want him to place fresh healthy ones.Kill scorpion because it is annoying and his major source of damage to you, don't bother with the rest
Ordo / Rayna engine in place for third round is ideal - but I managed to do enough numerical sheninigans just with Ordo out)
Sometimes you can place Ordo in first round too to make it easier and then decoy him at the end as you absolutely need him in last round.

Once his field is full do the work to do numerical advantage but don't kill his low hp units. win. he can't do anything with his deck if he can't place more units.
250+points on your side should do sometimes less. In round three I beat him I did not have Rayna out and thought it was a scratch but I beat his numbers anyways with 168 measly score....with Rayna out and being able to draw the exactly right cards you can get to 250+

EDIT: just redid it with perfecting this strat...it's even easier if you use horse thief/ infiltrator to steal like 80 power from a unit, use lyrian merlot to buff your Mahakan Shieldbearer with it (lowest health unit), and have Mahakan Shielbearer use his charges to boost every one of your ither units to 80+ power lever.
