That one sucked and killed my excitement for further puzzles, I skipped most of them at that point. Battles with special rules are fun, but puzzles can get really frustrating and ruin the flow for me, so I avoid them.

I totally feel you. It took me no small amount of self-denial to get myself to like the challenge at least a bit. I feel a little tougher now, though, at what price :butterfly:

I pride myself to not use the google for the riddles. Well, at least I did until yesterday. The She-troll puzzle. I had come to understand the trick in like 5-10 mins or so, but then spent almost an hour finding out the proper sequence and then given up :ACODC_Kick::BL3Shrug::steamfacepalm:

Man I thought I was the only one who is frustrated by puzzles in this game. It just kills the flow of the game and instead of building your card deck and using to fight battles, you are stuck with stupid puzzles. Bleh

On the plus side, some puzzles let you play Hearthstone, Memory and Match-3.

Yeah... I didn't mean it in a whining kinda way. It's what it is. Frustration is what we gamers eat for breakfast :D

A lot of people like puzzles, I'm not one of them. I avoid puzzle solving games like the plague because the puzzles almost always feel contrived.

I just got the game and was enjoying it until I hit my first puzzle. It was a fight in a graveyard where you're supposed to get each enemy down to 1 strength. Why ONE?? Why can't you kill them? It makes no sense and breaks my immersion.

Other than that, this game looks really good. But I just can't bring myself to play any further and am thus returning it.

I totally understand. I for example have no brain for RTS, and I've neverbrought myself into liking these. I think there is a way to simplify or to search for Puzzles solutions on the internets, if you are there just for the story and some more normal Gwent battles.
