Since you are low on resources and have so many slingers in your deck, make sure you draw Gascon before you start the round. Use the slingers to move the neckers or whatever monster up and down the rows. Gascon's strength increases with every movement of either ally or enemy.
I love using Lyrian Arbalests since they are really useful to attack enemies with high power by placing them on ally rows with many units, so if you have some meagre resources, craft them. Or, you can craft Wagenburg, since they can attack an entire row by the amount of armour they have (especially since your main issue is with the neckers)
Don't forget you also have tons of the loyal Lyrian cards. They may have low power, but using Meve's Leader ability always triggers to increase all their power by 5 each time. They can help you to maintain your score stability.
Lastly, trinkets like Lyrian Horn are especially useful when you are down to your last card. Use Lyrian horn increase all your units' power by 2, and reduce all the enemies' power by 2 at the end. Using this at my last turn usually helps me to win, even if it's by an extremely small margin.
Good luck!
