***Spoiler Warning*** Black Rayla: Worth Keeping?

Normally I'm kind to the nonhumans in my playthroughs, so Black Rayla leaves me when we get to Mahakam. But this time I wanted to try to keep her throughout my campaign because her card is very useful and I'm playing on the hardest difficulty. So of course when we get to the point where we find the missing dwarf kids, Black Rayla decides to be a c-word and kill them all. Instead of exiling her, I kept her which caused Isbel to leave. My question is, was it worth it?

On one hand, Isbel's healing skill is useful and later on you can upgrade her skill so she'll dish damage out, which is like a massive bomb on the battlefield when used at the right time. However Rayla's skill allows you to choose exactly which card to draw from your deck at exactly the right time, which if I REALLY need a particular card is a lifesaver. She's especially powerful when combined with Xavier and Odo, which allows you to draw a total of five cards of your choice. But of course Xavier is a twatwaffle and betrays you eventually, meaning you finish the game only being able to draw two cards from her. Is she still worth keeping over Isbel then?

This heavily depends on your deck build and play-style in my opinion. During my playthrough I had to ditch Isbel in late game to free up the army size so I could squeeze a few other cards in and I actually wished BR stayed instead.

I guess it does take a few runs to fully explore the options here.

You need neither to finish the game easily so go ahead with a different path this time and see what new options it will bring you.

Well you could just not do the quest where you look for the missing dwarfs and keep both Isabel and Rayla.

I'm gonna try to do that next time, but I already made the decision at the time I wrote this.
