Game timeline - before or after Witcher 3?
Greetings,
I have played Witcher 1 and 2 multiple times in the past but I have not found the time for Witcher 3 yet. So I would like to give Thronebreaker a try (shorter game), but will it spoil the story line of Witcher 3, or is it a stand-alone story?
Thanks

I envy and pity you at the same time. The Witcher 3 was the most engrossing time Ive had in an RPG. I got lost in that world for a long time and missed it all when it was over

I got the impression that Thronebreaker happens before The Witcher 1.

It happens before the timeline of Witcher 1

The game takes place much earlier than Witcher trilogy happens. Also, as far as I know, it tries to fit the books while Witcher trilogy takes place after books. So it would be wise to try and read books before playing. Also, mild spoiler (if you want to know how much Geralt has to do with this game) short story: very little. You'll see Geralt closer to the end of the game and after one battle and 5 minutes he'll leave you.

W3 is the greatest game of all time.

Find the time to play it....multiple times.

Thronebreaker happens during the events of the books(some of which are refferenced in-game) , which happen before witcher 1
