Loadout and upgrading weapons.

I just started playing. Did the training ground. Then played the first area of five enemies of the first mission.

A prompt appeared on the screen. Part of it was I think, something new for the sniper rifle. Then it said 'press TAB' for upgrading weapons tutorial.

However I was listening to the vocal interaction about the contract. After they stopped talking, I pressed TAB, but nothing happened. I must have pressed it right as the notification left the screen.

It means:
I don't know how to upgrade weapons, or change the add-ons to them. Googling is not being helpful.
I don't know how to go to loadout.
I don't know how to get inventory up - but I just thought that might be middle mouse.
I don't now how to heal if I need to. I saw some health packs in that last area, but was full.
I asked ages ago if we could turn off the aim-assist. I was told yes, but can't see where in settings. I found I didn't need it in the other SGW games.

All of the SGW games rock if you ask me.

The makers of this game decided that an outline / instructions was not nec·es·sar·y. STUPID.

As you play thru the game and complete objects, points and tokens are received, that can be redeemed for upgrades.

When you have open the contract map, you can see above them some menu points! One of them is called "Loadout" click on!

In the Loadout you can see now which weapon/ item is equipt! Left click on the weapon and you can choose an other one, Right click on the weapon and you can modify them but you need money!

Have not seen it in the main map. Must be as you said in the contract map.

Have found how to heal though.
