Chain killing
On PC --- Chain killing doesn't seem to work.

First, you tap V ( I use Nump 1) --- An arrow appears (not always it seems) and then you tap the direction key (I don't use W,S,A,D).

it doesn't work for me.

When 2 soldiers stand next to each other and you start with the left one, then you should be able to use the right direction key for the next one.

And so on.

I did this one for PC for a challenge and found it quite unreliable to execute it in practice if not for the challenge, even using WASD. It is definitely possible, but you have to be very fast and the arrow is not very visible. Maybe too fast for my reaction times, so I never used it again.

I have the same issue, I have tried to CK the guys in the Sekoil Tower after the sniper and run it every conceivable way. From behind distracted, front distracted, jumped on from staircase, the arrows do appear occasionally but the second guy always runs away or moves out of position, I've left that challenge.

The game has the same key rebinding bugs as SGW3.

MTL5, do you mean if we keep the default keys it should work, I also have them remapped to the arrow keys?

works fine with controller
Either the game can't handle you rebinding WASD or the enemy's a little too far away - the range for chain kills is very short.

The devs forgot to implement group rebinding for the chain kill stuff. I made an unofficial patch to solve it.

I got it now - The targets can't be walking - they must stand still (not patrolling) AND stand next to each other - throw a stone so they look away from you - move up to them and don't tuch any WASD when the meele menu appears - tab the V to attak and then look for the direction arrow for the chain kill - once that appears - tab the corresponding direction (W, A or D)

It is really an strange challange with no real value as I see it - Compared to MGSV & Ghoost Recon where the kills with knife just has to happend within few secconds - no mater how you move or tab. This could be improved!

Someone else mentioned that you need to be really close to the pair of guards for the CK to work. I've been playing with this and they are right. When I'm (uncomfortably) close to the guards, and I see the prompt, I tap the takedown key (I mapped it to my Mouse 4 button) on the guard to the left, then before the first takedown ends, I start rapidly tapping (mashing) the [D] key, cuz I know the other guard is to the right, so I don't wait for the arrow prompt. Still working on perfecting this method tho, cuz it's still tricky.

There seems to be a random option of who to kill. In the SekOil mission, I took out the left guard from the 2 guards after the zip line for the first run and it worked. but then after 2 runs doing the same thing didn't work. So I tried taking out the guy on the right and the prompt appeared. Also there is a slow timer when the prompt appears. So watch for that instead of spamming the arrow keys as the animation sometimes shifts the character in a different direction.
