Is there a way to skip the cutscenes?

They are useful, the first time, to let you immerse in the plot but then being forced to watch them again and again? Please no...

Here is your solution given by devs.
If you ask me, then I would say that it's not a very good idea. Not very effective I mean.
A powerful processor takes a few seconds on the other hand.

But your missing the point. It shouldn't take that long to get to the game without having to wait through a long loading screen or intro scene.

I tried to the above solution and it didn't work. So I just deleted the game. Not worth playing if you have to sit through this ♥♥♥♥ all the time. Another one of those bugs/glitches in the game as far as I'm concerned.

It took me on average about 10 seconds to go from the menu to game. Sounds like a you problem.

It works like a charm. I checked it out.
just rename the videos.pak files.

Steam >> Steamapps >> Common >> Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts >> gamesdk
Now rename Videos-part0.pak and Videos-part1.pak.

I don't know what contains only the intro videos(most probably part0). This disables all of 'em I guess. If you do this then you're left with following loading screen.

Like KARR said it does nothing except it turns the video loading into that screenshot loading screen. Waiting is same for both, whatever you prefer.

Not likely, cuz even if you give the time to load fully(for several minutes), the lag will be there.

it’s funny you tell someone’s it’s a “you problem.” when you’re simply lacking the knowledge to competently reply to this comment. i’m on a PS5, yes, years later after your reply- and you still have to sit with your thumb in tour *** while you wait for british grandad jerk*ff to finish re-explaining the literal word-for-word intro/cutscene (name it what you want) and have to wait through the entire thing to play a SOLO- PLAYER- GAME——— there are no other players or objectives to load. just the fuc*ing map. so yes, it is a sh*t a** game that the developers liked the idea of, but didn’t like the idea of producing it professionally to fix the 217 bugs that haven’t been address or patched. so get off your high horse, get a grip, and ask someone in your family to explain to you the difference between clicking a game, and getting to the main menu, and loading into a mission/contract/game/map (again, call it whatever your pu**y feels best with) and waiting through a video that repeats itself like a nightmare for every player- every time you load in. i am unbelievably sorry for the people in your life that put up with you, raised you, pretend to care about you, and last but not least, fuc*ing talk to you.
