SGWC Performance Issues
So, I have a R7 3800x, 5700XT, 32gb ram 3000mhz, and I'm receiving from 120 FPS to 30 at some points. I noticed my CPU Usage doesn't go beyond 20%, which is strange. My GPU rarely goes beyond 50% too. Is there any fix for this? I'm trying to play this before SGWC2 comes out, but you know... 30FPS is a real problem.

Yeah... So 21.4.1 didn't fix this... Shame...

No, I think CI has to fix it.

I'm out of my patience... I think the only way to show our dissappointment is to write negative review. It's probably only way to be noticed by CI. So much shame, I really liked previous games from this francise.

Interesting, would you like to elaborate briefly about your system and settings?

Ryzen 5 2600 / 3070 / 16gb 3200 / 2k / settings: Medium - high - ultra same problems. Drops from 120 to 70 or less.
Also the game is on a nvme..

I mean your PC settings(Ryzen Power Options) and Nvidia Control Panel Settings.
My specs : 3900X, 1660super, Smoothly runs even at checkpoint junctions and spawning areas(120fps).

I bet 10€ that nvidia control panel and ryzen settings does nothing to do here cuz i can play every single other game perfectly...

Maybe, but as far as I know that DRS and Re-spawning draws more power and GPU performance than any similar game which might result in huge fps drops if it isn't fed with max. power.
As you know, spawning in this game is not like any other games.

I don't know anymore. This game sucks. But most of the players with Nvidia cards registered less complaints. Maybe the cards aren't the issue after all!
The processor maybe, what about your processors thread optimizations?

I was having issues with my new 6900XT when I was testing this game. I thought that id try playing in Pop OS via Steam proton and that runs over 120FPS so must be a Windows driver issue I suppose.

As a late reply, I'm running a 6GB 5600XT, Ryzen 5 3600X 3.79GHz, and 16 GB of RAM (Using XMP 3000 due to stability issues with another game), with the game installed on my m.2 NVME drive, with a relatively recent driver for the GPU. For the most part the game ran fine, but every single time I'd exit the scope the game would drop frames hard. For a game that kinda requires you to use a sniper scope a lot, that's a problem.

I came across a Youtube video that suggested uninstalling the drivers with DDU, then installing 20.4.2 from back in May of 2020. I gave it a shot, and it seemed to reduce the drops quite a bit. It's not completely smooth, and it seems to still have issues when you've just loaded into a level, but it might be worth a shot for you folks.

To be specific, I downloaded both the 20.4.2 driver, as well as the most recent release of DDU (v18.0.4.3 at time of writing). Then I rebooted into Safe Mode without Network. I left the settings for DDU default, and did a clean and restart. Once it booted back into Windows, I installed 20.4.2, did not do a factory reset, and then rebooted when it prompted me to.

Hopefully this helps someone!

Is it possible to publish a benchmark? It can partially solve the problem. Very interesting this is. The community would also like to find what's happening from the core I guess. It is
indeterminate whether it is soft or, hard at this point.
It is clear from your consideration that it either the driver or, the cryengine.

But I found a slution for the checkpoint bumps. It comes from the monitor response/power delivery. It can be resolved via tuning Gsync and response delay in some.
