SGWC Performance Issues

So, I have a R7 3800x, 5700XT, 32gb ram 3000mhz, and I'm receiving from 120 FPS to 30 at some points. I noticed my CPU Usage doesn't go beyond 20%, which is strange. My GPU rarely goes beyond 50% too. Is there any fix for this? I'm trying to play this before SGWC2 comes out, but you know... 30FPS is a real problem.

5700XT, that's the problem; as you are aware, it's a hardware compatibility issue.
Recently I reported it to CI and they responded, informing me that they are trying to resolve the issue ASAP. Although I don't know when this problem is gonna liquefy/ can't tell you about any solutions as I never used a 5000 card.

There are multiple discussion threads concerning this particular issue, you can survey 'em. You might find some solution posted by expert community members.

That's a shame, I saw several performance people with the 5700xt running 90+fps at 2k. And I can't get 60 at 1080p in the same places. Was it a new update or something? The game is kinda old, I don't think they will be fixing that.

God knows what the exact problem is. Some say it's some new windows update, some complains about the engine itself, some says it's the 3d settings, some says its the Game mode etc. With so many possibilities,the compatibility issue seemed most viable to me.

BTW, are you sure, that the game is running smoothly with other pc's with the same hardware specs? If it is, then, however improbable, your PC settings is imposing the constraint! Very inconvenient.

There is another issue about the cards. It seems that the performance with the new AMD 5000/6000 XT cards are somewhat poor(low fps and stuttering). Any type of settings change is not affecting the performance and the game is not playable. I request you to look into this matter and make the game compatible with the new AMD cards as other games are working fine with the same card.

I don't really think the issue is with the GPU usage, because if I look somewhere not intensive, the FPS spikes up to 144 and the usage goes beyond 80%. But when I overlook something, which is CPU intensive, the FPS tanks to 20, and the CPU usage doesn't go beyond 20% no matter where we are. It's possible that the game is locked for 2 cores for some reason, while I have 8. Like I told you, these videos of people having much better performance on a R7 3600 and a 5700xt are from 2019, if the issue is a Windows update, then this explains why this is happening, but there is no word from CI or a Workaround for this.

I see. Thanks for your response. Let me investigate the processor issue. I will tell you If I discover something unusual other than your observation. I use a 3900X.

yea something should be off with the GPU, cause i can run it maxed on 1080p with around 60 fps on an old i5 7400, and a GTX 1060.

I just bought the game. I have 5600xt / i5 4570 and I'm receiving only 20 fps at 1080p... It's not dropping. It's constant... Is there any solution for this

Nope, I gave up and refunded. I was looking forward for Contracts 2 but now I'll wait for it's release and see if it will have the same issue.

5700XT drivers is the problem, had lot's of FPS drops randomly in other games, for some reason the card just downclocks to much and does not clock up fast enough and ♥♥♥♥ like that,... I sent it back to my reseller and got my money back, have a Nvidia RTX2060 super now wich performs almost the same and I have 0 FPS drops in any game.

I have the same problem with my 6800 xt, if I switch back to my RTX 3070 problem is gone.
Support is aware of the problem, and are looking into it.

I could not find any 6800XT benchmark video on youtube. Can you please provide a video/recommend one? As you've both the cards, I think you can tell the exact problem.
I know the performance with 3070, more or less but not with 5000/6000 cards.

There is a new AMD Driver, I wonder if it fixed this. I could check if there were a demo of this game.

I haven't seen any video about this problem, but it looks like that the game isn't using 6800 xt gpu, at least just a small amount of its capicity.
I maybe switch back and forth between the 2 cards during the weekend, and take a screenshot.
