Unable to access Sniper Turret

I have tried every combonation. I select the turret, press F & hold, and nothing happens. I can't place the turret.

The turret is never seen. When I release the "F" key after holding it, it just throws a rock.

I have tried to place it multiple places, flat ground, pavement, structures, etc...

Go to loadout then select a gadget slot and you can buy turret from there. Then, during the mission hold down wheel mouse button to select turret and then press F to deploy. Did you try that?

Yes, I did. I bought the turret, use my mouse wheel to select it. When selected, I press and hold "F" but it never appears. When I release thew "F" key, it throws a rock, but I never get to see or place the turret, regardless of the type of surface I try. It simply never appears in any form.

I think you accident bind "F" key with Throw rock. Normally throw rock is "Q".

The "F" key is my "use" key for grenades, mine placement, etc... Works for every other function on the mouse wheel.

Check your key buttons in the options, Q is for throwing rocks and F for use. I have no problems when I press F I see a turret and when it's green you can place it.

Maybe he had the same situation as me. I placed Sniper Turret, then I forgot to pack it and run ahead. When I wanted to place it again it wasn't possible :)
I heard the sound of shots but I wasn't able to place it - just because I didn't pack it with E key

No, I never placed it. Never hear shots, never have seen the turret except in my inventory. I appreciate the thought tho...
